Yes! However, the number of appointments is limited. Would you like an earlier appointment? Then you can also visit our private consultation hours as a self-payer.

What does self-pay mean?

As a self-paying patient, you have the option to make use of our private consultation services.

Billing is carried out according to the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ – Gebührenordnung für Ärzte).

The cost of a consultation varies depending on the scope of services provided, but in most cases ranges between €80 and €110.

You are responsible for covering the treatment costs yourself (self-pay service). In this case, your statutory health insurance will not reimburse the expenses.

How do I start psychotherapeutic treatment?

If you are considering psychotherapeutic treatment, we kindly request you to contact us via email in advance to inquire about the availability of initial consultations for outpatient psychotherapy. We will promptly get in touch with you.

If you require a consultation report for psychotherapy with a psychological psychotherapist, please schedule a psychiatric examination with us.

Do you have a waiting list for psychotherapeutic treatment?

Yes! After the initial consultation, you will be placed on my waiting list.

I need a specialist medical certificate. Could you issue one for me?

Yes! Make an appointment for a psychiatric examination so that we can support you with your concerns.

Do you also prepare medical reports?

Yes! Please make sure to contact us in advance via email so we can assist you with your request. Afterwards, we can arrange an appointment for the assessment together.

I need a certificate of incapacity for work. Can you issue me one?

Yes! If you are found to be unfit for work following a psychiatric examination, we will be happy to provide you with a corresponding certificate upon request.

Can I continue to have your consultation hours and my psychotherapist?

Yes! Of course you can come to my psychiatric consultation hours and continue to receive psychotherapeutic treatment from your psychotherapist.

Do you also offer ADHD diagnostics?

Yes, we also offer ADHD diagnostics, but only for privately insured and self-paying patients.

Unfortunately, statutory health insurance does not reimburse the additional effort involved in the diagnostic testing. However, once a diagnosis has been confirmed, the costs of further treatment are covered by statutory health insurance.

How high are the costs of ADHD diagnostics for self-payers?

The cost of self-pay ADHD diagnostics varies depending on how complex the process will be. Billing is based on the fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ). In general, the cost from the first appointment to the final confirmation of the diagnosis is around €600.

Can I book a video consultation for ADHD diagnostics?


Do you also prescribe BtM prescriptions?

Yes! If there is a medical need, we will also prescribe appropriate narcotics such as methylphenidate.

For me, ADHD is already demonstrably secured in adulthood. Does my statutory health insurance cover the costs of drug treatment?

Yes, within the framework of the drug guidelines, the statutory health insurance company takes care of the indication-based treatment in the case of proven ADHD in adulthood. However, it must be remembered that the treatment must also be economical. These are requirements of your statutory health insurance.
